Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Controller to join our rapidly growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role in our organization and make a significant impact on our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial systems, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This position will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and ensuring the long-term financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all company accounts and investments
  • Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the executive team
  • Develop and manage financial controls within the organization
  • Hire, train and manage accounting team members
  • Prepare all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
  • Negotiate and manage business insurance, employee health insurance, and 401(k) administration
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls
  • Implement and maintain NetSuite system to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
  • Minimum of 7 years of strong accounting experience, with at least 3 years of experience in managing teams
  • Strong experience with NetSuite is required
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in a senior management position is a plus.
