Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage financial transactions and support our client's accounting team.

AP/AR Specialist Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable Management:

   • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
   • Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and payment terms.
   • Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve any discrepancies.

2. Accounts Receivable Management:

   • Generate customer invoices and statements accurately.
   • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
   • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues.

3. Financial Reporting:

   • Assist in preparing financial reports, including aging reports, cash flow statements, and reconciliation reports.
   • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

AP/AR Specialist Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Plus:

• Experience in the distribution or logistics industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management and purchase order processing.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

AP/AR Specialist Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

AP/AR Specialist Compensation: $24-$28 an hour .
