We are looking for a friendly, experienced Catering Chef Manager to complete our catering team. Our staff enjoy paid holidays, opportunities for training and advancement and time off between semesters to spend with family and friends during the winter holidays.

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Responsible for leading food production for catered events, from simple to elegant. Some events may include as many as 1200 guests.

2. Ordering food for catered events.

3. Writing custom catering menus as needed.

4. Assisting with Campus Dining food production as needed.

5. Other duties as assigned.

The Catering Chef Manager work schedule is determined by the catering needs of The College of Wooster, working 40 – 50 hours a week and weekends as needed. This is a salary position with a quarterly bonus program. Experience:

· 3-5 years of upscale catering experience

· High volume catering production

· Servsafe Food Safety Manager and Allergen Certification is a plus, but can be provided.

· Plated meal presentation and menu development including gluten free, allergen-free and vegan menus.

Physical Demands/Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Environment may include hot, humid or cold conditions.
