CRDN Upstate SC and Western NC is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Anderson, SC

Job description

CRDN is an international organization of specialty (textiles, electronics, art, and collectables) and general contents restoration specialists serving the insurance industry, contractors/contents cleaning companies and property owners. CRDN follows standardized, consistent and proven processes to restore items leading to improved accuracy and customer satisfaction. POSITION SUMMARY

As a Business Development Representative for CRDN of Upstate SC and Western NC, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling contractors/restoration companies, insurance adjusters, insurance agents, and commercial sources in your territory.. You will travel to prospective customer sites to deliver sales pitches, provide information and of course, close deals! You need to be a self-motivated, tech savvy individual driven to succeed. Familiarity with the Restoration industry is a huge plus.

COMPENSATION:

  • $50k-90k (OTE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Base salary of $50,000.

  • Uncapped Commission

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenue.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning.
  • Develop and implement an aggressive plan to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making multiple cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunities.
  • Conduct 20 face to face sales pitches per week showcasing how our services will improve their business and reduce claim times.
  • First Respond and Site Inspect potential claims.
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the restoration project team.
  • Utilize Hubspot and Restornet to record, maintain & report customer information.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience
  • Associate degree in Sales and Marketing or related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the restoration industry is a big plus.
  • Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales.

  • Outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and overcome customer's objections.
  • Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to adapt to quick business changes
  • Excellent follow-up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Requires a valid driver’s license
  • Consent to undergo background check

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position will supervise all in-field project teams.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This job operates in a home office and on-the-road environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • Hours will be divided between working out of a home office and traveling to prospective clients’ businesses providing demos.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
  • Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand the stress of traveling, including extended hours driving.
