Under the supervision of the Marketing Operations Manager (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA), Marketing Operations Associate Analyst, provides a wide range of complex analytical, problem solving and administrative support.

This position’s office headquarters location is designated in Sacramento County. Travel expenses associated with commuting to the employee’s office headquarters location are not reimbursable, other than authorized transit subsidies.

Working Conditions

This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Covered California’s current telework policy. While Covered California supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the Department.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Instructions: A SOQ is required to apply. The SOQ will be used as a pre-interview screening tool. Applicants who do not follow the SOQ instructions and/or do not answer the prompt as stated below may not be considered.
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) discusses how your education, training, and experiences qualifies you for this position. The SOQ should be no more than three pages in length, 12 pt. Arial font, and must address each of the questions listed below.
1. After reviewing the tasks in the Job Description, please describe how your education, training, and work experience have prepared you for this position. Please identify the number of years of experience for each task.
2. Background: This position will process and audit for accuracy, work orders/purchase orders and detailed invoices with complex calculations which must be verified for accuracy. Some invoices will have over 100 pages with numerous entries and calculations that must be validated.
Please review the Job Description regarding the processing of work orders and invoices and describe your experience in processing work orders and invoices in a work environment. Include the steps you took to ensure accuracy, and the number of years of experience. If you do not have prior work experience, you may describe related experience.
3. Describe a complex work-related project that you personally completed, and which required collaboration. Describe the project and the steps you took to keep the project organized and completed on time. Also provide details on any challenges you encountered, the steps and approach you took to resolve them, and any collaboration and resources you used.
