Corporate Hospitality Housing is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Irving, TX
Who we are:
Corporate Hospitality is currently a rapidly growing company in the hospitality industry. We are a lodging coordination firm that primarily handles the responsibilities of apartment, hotel, and man camps for our corporate clients primarily in the oil/gas/construction sector.
Position Overview:
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Generate purchase orders when necessary
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Properly code invoices and enter them into the accounting software
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
- Process invoices using our AP automation software
- Manage multiple email inboxes
- Process and prepare a weekly check run in accordance with department policies
- Process payment via check, credit cards and ACH
- Assist in the month end financial reporting as needed
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in Accounts Payables with a College Degree (Required)
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Superb time management skills and detail orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload
- Self-motivation, intelligence, and strong work ethic
- Ability to interact with customers via phone, email, etc.
- Advanced skills in Excel & Outlook
