Corporate Caterers of West Michigan is a rapidly growing catering business with customers in and around the Grand Rapids area. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our organization and fill the roll of Business Development Associate. This position would begin on a part-time basis with the opportunity to become full-time if desired.Our Business Development Associate would report to our Director and Marketing Director on a daily basis. This individual would be responsible for conducting office visits in nearby areas to “spread the word” about Corporate Caterers, conduct cold calls to qualified leads, and attend occasional Chamber of Commerce and networking events.The qualified candidate should possess the following key skills:

• An outgoing and engaging personality.
• A willingness to learn and implement key selling strategies.
• Organized and reliable with the energy to tackle each day with enthusiasm.
• Comfortable making phone calls to prospective customers and seeing them in person whenever possible.
• Comfortable attending Chamber of Commerce and networking events
• Ability to do minor reporting with Microsoft Excel or within our reporting system.
