Executive Chef, Michelin
Salary: $130k -$175k depending on experience bonus benefits

The Company:
We are working with a renowned three Michelin-star chef known for their innovative cuisine and commitment to sustainable practices. We are excited to announce the opening of a new project which the Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in the success of and be instrumental in shaping the culture of the team. This role will require travel for Research and Development, and the willingness to relocate to the Pacific Northwest (assistance available). This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the top talent in the United States and redefine the culinary landscape in Seattle.

Executive Chef responsibilities:

• Responsible for BOH operations for the restaurant
• Display a mastery and working knowledge of all menu items
• Take ownership of costing and food management from receiving to dining room

• Manage and mentor all kitchen employees, including oversite of training and coaching

• Create and manage schedules and labor controls
• Oversee a team of over 20 chefs and cooks
• Manage at a high level while maintaining adaptability and flexibility

Ideal Executive Chef candidate:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant with at least two or three Michelin stars.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a high-performing culinary team.
• Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
• A deep understanding of food trends, techniques, and international cuisines.
• Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
