Control Micro Systems, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Winter Park, FL

We are actively seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and consultative support to our dynamic and innovative small high-tech manufacturing company. With a focus on our 60 dedicated employees, you will have the opportunity to shape our HR strategies, foster a positive work environment, and drive impactful initiatives that align with our business goals.
Job Title: Human Resource Generalist
Part Time: 20 - 30 hours per week on site location (this is not a remote position)
Compensation: Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: $20 - 28 / hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and administer HR policies, reviewing and improving current processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and generate necessary reports using Paycor HRIS.
  • Handle all aspects of employee time off, including STD, LTD, and FMLA, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Conduct audits of compensation plans and communicate recommendations to maintain competitive ranges for all positions. Design annual merit plan with structured performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with business leadership and Finance Leaders to develop and implement guidelines for the Annual Bonus Plan, including eligibility and allocation schedules.
  • Manage the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process, including job posting, recruitment, interviews, and job offers. Facilitate New Hire Orientation and handle all related paperwork.
  • Administer 401K plans, health plans, and payroll activities.
  • Maintain an "open-door policy" to attentively listen to employee needs and positively contribute to the company culture. Provide timely and effective solutions to address concerns.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to provide ongoing training and development opportunities based on identified employee needs.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in an HR role, demonstrating personal and professional growth.
  • Strong technical skills with a proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Adaptability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new environments and processes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster positive partnerships across the organization.
  • Active membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and relevant HR certifications are required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered.
