Job description:
We are seeking a skilled and creative social media and marketing manager to join our team! We have three unique brands under the larger business umbrella and are looking for someone who can deliver content and strategy optimized for each independent brand. The social media and marketing manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and providing photo, video, and graphic design content for in-house and print marketing.
2-3 years professional social media management and digital marketing experience required.
This is a hybrid postition that requires work both in the city of Chicago and several surrounding suburbs. Reliable transportation is a must. Scheduling is flexible, but this position will entail gathering content on-site periodially on nights and weekends.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop & execute strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create diverse content (photos, videos, reels, graphics, and written copy) across various platforms (facebook, instagram, tiktok, etc.) to showcase our products and connect with target audiences
- Maintain and uphold brand identity and messaging across all digital platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and design
- Work with business management to understand long-term strategy and develop media campaigns to support
- Monitor trends and conversations across all platforms and leverage opportunities for engagement, while aligning with long-term business strategy
- Interact with followers and respond to comments, messages, reviews, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze social media performance metrics monthly and provide insights for improvement and growth
- Design and manage paid social media advertising, with budget allocation and performance tracking
- Provide graphic design for in-house publicity needs and print advertising
- Create and execute newsletters (bi-weekly for each brand as needed), maintain mailing lists, and coordinate with partners to share content between mailing lists
- Take high-quality photos for print media and websites
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation
- Strong understanding of all social media platforms and marketing analytics tools
- Photography expertise and proficiency in photo and video editing
- Creative mindset and ability to drive strategic growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
