Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering patient care, including complex procedures such as tube feeding, ventilating, dialyzing, and administering medications
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on new procedures, protocols, and technologies
- Oversee infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Implement memory care programs for patients with dementia or memory impairments
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [STATE]
