Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic problems with plant equipment, utilities, and facilities.
2. Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic repair actions as needed or directed.
3. Participate in plant or department start-ups to assure safe and efficient start-ups.
4. Inspects the work and initiates corrective measures to meet established standards.
5. Assists in specifying and ordering repair parts through supplier channels.
6. Participates in the performance and monitoring of preventative maintenance measures.
7. Review current operating processes to recommend safer systems or procedures to supervisor
8. Works with representatives of USDA regulatory agency to make immediate corrective actions to equipment or facilities as deemed necessary.
9. Works cooperatively with managers and supervisors in the accomplishment of relevant company objectives.
10. Any other task or duty as assigned by management or as is deemed necessary by management to insure a safe and orderly environment.
