Elite Mente LLC is Hiring a Maintenance technician Near Princeton, IL
VCS is looking for Maintenance Technician Facilities for one of our client at Princeton, IL . Earn Gift Cards up to $250 every Month.
Start Date : ASAP
End Date : 12 / 27 / 2024 (with possible extension)
Pay Rate : $21 / hour - $21.75 / hour
Shift 1 : $21 / hr
If the plant moves to shifts- shift differentials will be added to hourly rate :
- Shift 2 : shift start time at noon $0.50 / hr
- Shift 3 : shift start time at 6pm $0.75 / hr
Attendance / Performance Appreciation : Up to $250 / Month as Gift Cards (Non-Taxable)
Shift schedule : Currently Monday-Friday 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm; during harvest and / or packaging, the plant will move to a 24 / 5 schedule and this position must be available for rotating shifts.
Those schedules will be determined when closer to the seasons.
Weekly Schedule : 40 hours
Responsibilities
- Support Plant Operations.
- Maintain Condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools
- Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts.
- Conduct seasonal prep work including Annual Preventative Maintenance, Repairs, and Improvements.
- Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.
- Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
- Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.
- Work with vendors and contractors to safely and effectively complete work.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required :
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years of relevant work experience in a maintenance dept
- Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse)
- Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions
- Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and / or repetitive lifting
- Willingness and ability to work shiftwork and overtime hours including weekend work required during seasonal peaks
