Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors when necessary
- Fabricate or repair parts using various tools and equipment
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment history
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant findings or concerns to management
Skills:
- Strong technical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facilities maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and coordinate external contractors
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
