Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all equipment and systems, as well as managing a team of maintenance technicians. This is a critical role that requires strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or equipment servicing
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as necessary, including troubleshooting and repair work
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology
Experience:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance management
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with logic controllers, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed for equipment repairs
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication skills)
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols
- Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
