Confidential is Hiring a Legal Administrative Assistant Near Batavia, NY

Job Summary: We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for our small Genesee County Law Firm. Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for clients and third parties entering and calling the law firm and will assist attorneys with administrative and legal tasks. You will be working directly with attorneys and clients and should be organized, detail-oriented and have a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scanning, filing, and correspondence.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Greet visitors and perform initial screening of clients
  • Answer phones and perform initial screening of callers
  • Monitor and reply to emails
  • Prepare and file various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and judgments
  • Assist with attorneys’ calendars and scheduling

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and skills. The Legal Assistant may be required to perform additional duties as assigned by the attorneys or supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
