We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Manager to join our team. As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities
-Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution
- Assist employees with benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance management
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR management roles in long term care or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and current employment laws
- Experience with HRIS systems for data collection and reporting purposes
- Proven track record in program management, change management, and process improvement initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and analytically
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
