Job Title: Temporary Human Resources Assistant
Start Date: May 13, 2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Shift Notes: Guaranteed 20 hours per week
Location: Brockton, MA
Compensation: $18-20/hour
We are working with a a not-for-profit hospital dedicated to providing exceptional services to patients throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. They're currently seeking a Temporary Human Resources Assistant to join them for a 13-week contract starting on May 13th, 2024 with the possibility of extending.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and assisting callers with inquiries
- Welcoming and assisting walk-ins to the HR office
- Managing voicemails, forwarding messages as needed
- Organizing and filing documents
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including preparing FedEx shipments
- Retrieving and managing termination files, I-9s, and CORI documents
- Assisting with scanning and digitizing files
- Responding to general office requests and inquiries
- Creating and organizing files for new hires, ensuring proper documentation and filing
- Managing employee identification processes, including taking ID pictures
- Assisting with the onboarding workflow for non-employees
- This position offers a flexible schedule with guaranteed hours, providing an opportunity for individuals with administrative backgrounds to gain experience in a healthcare setting. We're looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
