Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage the operations team to ensure seamless transportation services, including fleet management, routing, scheduling, and driver coordination.
- Implement best practices to optimize efficiency, safety, and quality throughout the company's operations, with a focus on just-in-time (JIT) delivery solutions.
- Oversee the development and execution of strategic business plans to drive growth, expand market share, and identify new revenue streams, particularly within the auto industry.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners, to foster business development opportunities, especially in the auto supplier sector.
- Leverage your auto industry experience to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments, identifying emerging opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve processes across all aspects of the business, especially those related to JIT delivery requirements.
- Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics to achieve and exceed business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management, logistics, and business development within the trucking and transportation industry, with a strong emphasis on the auto sector and JIT principles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team toward achieving common goals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships, particularly in the auto industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools for fleet management, route optimization, and data analysis.
