About the Role

The Company, a large educational institution, is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead its human resources department. The CHRO will be responsible for maintaining a strong, compliant, and results-oriented HR department, ensuring that all actions align with the organization's policies, mission, and strategic plan. This key leadership role involves inspiring and maintaining a professional atmosphere across the organization, leading transformation initiatives, directing workforce planning, and developing annual staffing budgets. The successful candidate will also be tasked with talent acquisition and development, implementing a talent management system, and creating employee recognition programs to achieve and maintain high levels of employee morale and engagement.Applicants must have a Master's degree (preferably in education administration), a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, and at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience, with 5 years of HR management experience preferred. The role requires superior collaboration skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively. The CHRO will also be responsible for ensuring legal compliance in employment practices, serving as a member of collective bargaining negotiations, and creating a safety culture within the organization. Knowledge of K-12 schools and thorough knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources are essential, as is the willingness to work flexible hours and schedules.
