About the Role

The Company is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide executive leadership and management for its regional health information exchange. The CEO will be responsible for the organization's overall operations, policy development, and programs, and will play a crucial role in both short-term objective execution and long-term strategic planning. This highly visible position involves serving as the main spokesperson and liaison with stakeholders at local, regional, state, and federal levels. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying and pursuing opportunities for the HIE's expansion and growth, including new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams. Strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, government agencies, academia, and other stakeholders are essential to promote participation and engagement in the HIE.Applicants for the CEO position should have a background in business, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of working with senior executives in the healthcare industry, state administration, and other key areas. An in-depth understanding of health information exchanges (HIEs) and health IT, as well as the intersection between technology and healthcare, is required. The role demands a leader who is capable of ensuring the reliable and secure exchange of health information while maintaining compliance with regulations and privacy requirements.
