About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to join their team. The CDO will be a strategic and collaborative individual with a strong fundraising track record, responsible for all private income development and brand awareness. This role involves developing and executing short-term and long-term strategies to secure individual donor, corporate, and foundation contributions in support of the company's calling and programs. As the direct leader of the Marketing and Development Department, the CDO will provide oversight of the fundraising program, monitor development activities, and implement new strategies for growth and success. The ideal candidate will be a member of the Executive Team, maintaining an effective relationship with the Board of Directors' Marketing and Development Committee.Candidates for the CDO position should be prepared to contribute to the company's mission of providing life-saving medical care for people in crisis, including both sudden and long-term emergencies. The role requires a leader who can work closely with the CEO and the executive team, and who is committed to the values of the organization, which include strict principles for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, as well as a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct. The CDO will be a key figure in the company's efforts to respond to global disasters, and will be expected to have a deep understanding of the social impact and environmental landscape in which the organization operates.
