About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead its transformative growth and philanthropic efforts. The CDO will be a key member of the executive management team, responsible for setting and exceeding fundraising goals, and will play a critical role in nurturing relationships with a wide range of donors, including high-net worth individuals, foundations, and other funding sources. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in comprehensive fundraising and engagement, capable of galvanizing a new generation of funders while maintaining ties with long-standing benefactors. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, a strong communicator, and will be expected to build and oversee a team across all areas of fundraising and engagement.The ideal CDO for the company will be a trailblazer, an architect of growth, and a strategic maestro, ready to make history and change lives. They should have the executive skills to work effectively with the Board and Executive Leadership team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. The role requires a candidate with a broad and deep fundraising experience, including effective partnerships with mass donor and integrated fundraising campaigns, as well as philanthropic operations. The CDO will be responsible for personally cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and principal gifts, and will be expected to champion the impact, strategic priorities, and vision of the company.
