THE POSITION
The Chief Information Officer (CIO), will perform a true business leadership role, be capable of influencing stakeholders, driving positive change, and leading innovation. Reporting to the CEO, HCE, s/he will be responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies to achieve business goals and must be able to work effectively with senior leaders to ensure a comprehensive IT strategy benefitting the entire organization. This role will also be a crucial part of strategizing and driving HCE's digital transformation
This role reports directly to Kevin Dehoff, President & CEO, HCE, and is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute the overall technology vision and strategy, aligned with HCE's business objectives
• Oversee the management and implementation of all IT systems, infrastructure, and software development initiatives
Lead a talented team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Drive digital transformation efforts, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance our SaaS offerings and improve customer experiences
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology needs, ensuring efficient and effective solutions
• Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to maximize value and drive cost savings
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and industry leading practices in SaaS and industrial software, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, implementing robust cybersecurity measures
YOU MUST HAVE
• 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, ideally as a CIO or in a similar capacity within a SaaS organization preferred
• 5 years leading and influencing a large team, preferably within a global & matrixed environment across multiple locations and time zones
• Leadership and people management experience developing and executing technology strategies, driving innovation, and scaling technology platforms
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; MBA or Master's from an accredited college or university preferred
• Experience working within industrial software and/or customers in the manufacturing, energy or similar industries strongly preferred
