Working as a Catering Manager at a corporate dining account in Manhattan, you will supervise and ensure the successful operation of the catering department. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule (daytime and evening availability required. Average of 4-5 evening events per month).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all catered events.
- Build and maintain outstanding relationships with clients and guests to consistently exceed expectations
- Commit to continous improvement of services and stay up to date on trends
- Manage catering associates
- Assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of food service experience restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
- 1 year of experience with lead or supervisory experience
- Knowledge and experience with food and catering trends
- Proficient computer skills
- ServSafe Certification, preferred
