RESPONSIBLE DIRECTLY TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION OF THE DUTIES WITHIN THE JOB DESCRIPTION AS FOLLOWS:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· Interviewing, making recommendations for new employees, supervising and evaluating all staff members within assigned jurisdiction.
· Providing orientation to all staff members in assigned jurisdiction.
· Overseeing all operations in assigned jurisdiction.
· Interviewing, providing direct services and referrals as appropriate in the absence of key personnel.
· Providing translation services to outside agencies which will generate funds.
· Providing notary services needed.
· Escorting clients to other agencies when no other means are available to ensure adequate service.
· Ensuring that all employees maintain current and accurate case files in a comprehensive written format.
· Ensuring office provides an atmosphere of support, confidentiality and ethical standards for all clients.
· Monitoring office supplies and ordering new items required.
· Preparing, maintaining and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual statistical and narrative reports as required by the agencies and grantor’s policies.
· Developing and maintaining working relationship with other service providers.
· Assisting the Executive Director in seeking program funding, donations and/or in-service.
· Attend meetings, conferences and training as assigned by the Executive Director.
· Ensure proper safety measures are observed at all times.
· Maintain the office impeccable, call for any service needed.
· Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and to ensure its appliances are in good working order.
· Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures.
· Performing other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university and three years’ experience in a supervisory capacity. Work experience may be substituted for the Bachelors’ degree.
· Excellent oral, written bilingual skills preferred (Spanish/Haitian Creole and English).
· Must be capable of working with diverse populations.
· Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Weekends and Evenings may be required as needed at times.
· A valid New Jersey driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
