Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring efficient and effective administrative support. This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties:
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Process payroll and maintain accurate records
- Assist with financial concepts and analysis as needed
- Provide support in governmental accounting procedures
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related inquiries
- Coordinate office activities and schedules
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required
Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software such as or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes
- Experience with payroll processing and maintaining accurate records
- Familiarity with financial concepts and analysis
- Knowledge of governmental accounting procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
