Community Access Service is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Near Portland, OR

We are currently seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals in a 24-hour residential program. This role presents an opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Apply now and become an essential part of our mission! DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a group living setting.
- Follow specified Individual Support Plans (ISP) to enhance the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility support.
- Support skill-building activities to foster independence and personal development.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, care provided, and any incident or observations.
- Work collaboratively with other DSPs, supervisors, and team members to provide comprehensive support.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of the individuals you work with.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting approx. 50 lbs.
- Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond effectively to challenges.
- Successful completion of a level II background check
- Competitive wages ($20-$21 per hour)
