JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
CNS is seeking two Administrative Assistant Intern to support a local utility department by executing the general administrative functions of a wide variety of administrative tasks including preparing documents and reports, creating application packets, verifying data, answering phones, compiling records, organizing and maintaining information, resolving billing issues, and providing general office support.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Utilize billing software to verify customer’s name, addresses, account numbers, and billing history usage.
Save documents (6-7 electronic/digital documents) into newly created folders named for the billing software addresses.
Data entry from application packets into spreadsheets.
Create a list of required updates for resubmission or approve application packet.
Process resubmittals by verifying data in spreadsheet and updating changes.
Competencies
Ability to perform basic computer functions
Skill in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint
Skill with Adobe Acrobat, photo viewing software, and billing software.
Ability to verify data and enter data into forms
Knowledge of PII Controls (data loss prevention) and data integrity.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Two years of administrative experience.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a temporary full-time position working Monday through Friday.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
