We are looking for :

Colombo & Hurd, PL is searching for a talented and experienced Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Generalist to join our team in a hybrid role.

This position will play a crucial role in our firm's recruitment and talent acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Work with the hiring manager to identify staffing needs and requirements and conduct the recruitment process.

2. Conduct initial screenings of candidates, schedule interviews, and control the selection process.

3. Plan and conduct the new hire onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

4. Maintain accurate team members' records and ensure compliance with the firm's policies and regulations.

5. Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the firm's goals.

6. Collaborate with management and team members to promote a positive work culture and resolve workplace challenges.

7. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement in HR processes.

8. Have a can-do attitude and eagerly pitch in with other duties as needed.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) required to communicate effectively (both orally and verbally) across all levels of the organization.
  • 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and labor laws.
  • Ability to define problems and tasks, collect data and establish facts, take action and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
