Job Description:

Colleague is currently looking for an Estimator/ Project Manager in the New Orleans, LA Area. The Estimator be working for a landscape company. This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role involves overseeing preconstruction, estimating, and project management activities to ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a background in construction management or a related field.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough take-offs and reviews of plans and specifications.

· Review subcontractor and vendor quotes, negotiating pricing.

· Manage change orders and project budgets.

· Coordinate with stakeholders to align projects with budgetary constraints.

· Maintain communication with clients throughout project lifecycles.

· Develop and manage project schedules.

· Procure materials and manage resources efficiently.

· Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

· Proficiency in Microsoft programs.

· Strong understanding of construction concepts and materials.

· Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
