SUMMARY
The Sales Consultant (REMOTE : Southeast, USA) position is an associate-level position that is accountable for producing the following result : acquiring and retaining long-term, quality clients by generating leads through our lead generation process, converting leads into sales through the execution of our sales process, and providing quality products, dependable services, and trusted information to potential customers.
The Sales Consultant position is expected to be the primary revenue generator for new business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet and exceed goals for new business revenue by prospecting and closing new customer business
- Use targeted account list and prospect for new business accounts
- Maintain an active prospecting plan
- Attend sales meetings, company meetings, and other sales team and company functions
- Document all sales calls, appointments, and appropriate notes
- Follow the sales process for all prospects and clients, help with and follow up on all new client questions, issues, or needs
- Maintain full control of all client expectations, timelines, and delivery expectations
- Optimize efficiency with strong communication among team members
- Prepare and deliver sales performance metrics and pipeline development plans / reports to the VP of Sales as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years experience in new business sales
- Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to persevere in the face of challenges
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and relationship skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual / quarterly goals and targets
- Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities
- At least an intermediate level in using Microsoft Office products.
