Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and carpentry work
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience with facilities maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and logic controllers
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
