POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Assistant will assist the Director of Human Resources in all phases of payroll administration, recruitment and retention activities, benefits administration, policy development, and human resource related issues. This includes assisting supervisors and employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Recruits' applicants for all positions by posting positions to company web site and/or other web sites.
- Prescreens applications for completion and forwards qualified candidates to the appropriate supervisor.
- Performs all employment screening required for licensure. This includes certification/licensure verification, OSBI screening, employment verification and personal reference.
- Conveys all necessary insurance information to employees and assists them with questions.
- Assists in the implementation of personnel policies and procedures; may be required to explain or interpret certain policies.
- Assists with computerized time and attendance system ensuring hours are allocated to the appropriate cost center.
- Assists with computerized payroll system.
- Performs any other duty as assigned.
