Clippers LLC dba Great Clips is Hiring a HR Manager Near Denver, CO

Great Clips is a US-based haircutting Franchise with over 4000 salons nationwide. Our customers are individuals who want a great haircut at a great price and they don’t want to bother making an appointment yet want to get in and get out without long wait times.

Our culture is centered on the customer experience. Teamwork is a big focus all the time here at Great Clips. As a multi-Franchise owner, we have grown to own and manage 18 total salons in two states. With this growth, we are looking for an HR Manager to assist with operations.

This person reports to the General Manager, and will work mostly remotely near Denver, CO, with quarterly visits to 9 Denver area salons. This is a full-time, salaried position with possible employee contact at any time during the salons' operating hours, 8am - 8pm MT.

This person will assist in the following duties, among others:

  • Recruiting and assisting in hiring new employees
  • Lead new hire on-boarding process using HR tools
  • Assist with the implementation of policies and programs
  • Communicate with Stylists in managing interpersonal relationships
  • Support employees by listening effectively and solving employee problems
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Leverage excellent interpersonal skills to seek input, provide coaching and advising to all levels within the organization
  • Professionally handle sensitive and confidential situations with integrity in a timely manner
  • Manage employees on Leaves of Absence
  • Assist in attendance management
  • Assist in enrolling Stylists in online courses as-needed
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding their feedback
  • Administer workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
  • Will work non-traditional hours as needed after promotion to full-time/salaried.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience required, preferably including operational and development focused responsibilities
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to seek input, provide coaching and advising to all levels within the organization
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage follow-through
  • Detail-oriented
  • Outgoing and Personable
  • Has some experience in Google Drive, Google Sheets, & Google Docs

Job Type: Full-time, salaried

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000

Work Location: Primarily remote, based somewhere between Longmont, CO and Castle Rock, CO. Will require transportation as needed to visit multiple salons in the Denver area, approximately once a quarter.
