City of Jacksonville is Hiring a BUILDING INSPECTOR Near Jacksonville, AR
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS ARE COMPLETED ON EVERY PROJECT. THIS INCLUDES ALL TRADES.
2. CONTACT WITH TRADESPEOPLE CONCERNING QUESTIONS ABOUT INSPECTION RESULTS.
3. RESEARCH IN CODES CONCERNING DEFICIENCIES FOUND DURING INSPECTIONS.
4. DAILY SCHEDULING OF INSPECTIONS.
5. PARTICIPATE IN CROSS TRAINING PROGRAM WITH OTHER INSPECTORS IN THE DEPARTMENT.
6. DOCUMENT LICENSING OF WORKERS ON JOB SITE TO ENSURE EVERYONE IS LICENSED BY THE STATE.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
HIGH SCHOOL, PLUS SPECIALZED SCHOOLING AND/OR ON THE JOB EDUCATION IN A SPECIFIC SKILL AREA, E.G. DATA PROCESSING, CLERICAL/ADMINISTRATIVE, EQUIPMENT OPEARATION, ETC, PLUS 3 YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING AND 7 TO 11 MONTHS RELATED MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
