City Of Jacksonville, AR is Hiring a BUILDING INSPECTOR Near Jacksonville, AR
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE IS LOOKING FOR A BUILDING INSPECTOR TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH CITY BUILDING ORDINACES AND ADOPTED CODES INCLUDING PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, BUILDING, STORMWATER AND FIRE REGULATION.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS ARE COMPLETED ON EVERY PROJECT. THIS INCLUDES ALL TRADES.
- CONTACT WITH TRADESPEOPLE CONCERNING QUESTIONS ABOUT INSPECTION RESULTS.
- RESEARCH IN CODES CONCERNING DEFICIENCIES FOUND DURING INSPECTIONS.
- DAILY SCHEDULING OF INSPECTIONS.
- PARTICIPATE IN CROSS TRAINING PROGRAM WITH OTHER INSPECTORS IN THE DEPARTMENT.
- DOCUMENT LICENSING OF WORKERS ON JOB SITE TO ENSURE EVERY ONE IS LICENSED BY THE STATE.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
HIGH SCHOOL, PLUS SPECIALZED SCHOOLING AND/OR ON THE JOB EDUCATION IN A SPECIFIC SKILL AREA; E.G. DATA PROCESSING, CLERICAL/ADMINISTRATIVE, EQUIPMENT OPEARATION, ETC, PLUS 3 YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING AND 7 TO 11 MONTHS RELATED MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.
