BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST LEAD
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Strategy & Transformation team, within Banking & Investment Services division, drives the delivery of large scale, enterprise-wide initiatives and provides active direction to achieve organizational strategy through a variety of means including, but not limited to advising on strategic opportunities and alignment, strategic planning, and driving cross-functional execution. This role will work with transformation and initiative leaders across the organization to ensure plans are well thought out and deliver an outstanding set of results and experiences for our clients, partners, colleagues and CNB, overall. On an on-going basis, this role may also be called upon to identify, diagnose and assess areas across the organization where there is a specific need to define or align strategy, address blockers (process, planning, structure, etc.), and capture unique opportunities.
Banking and Investment Services Division
Banking and Investment Services plays an integral role in leading the strategic vision and execution of all banking operations. Our servicing and operations professionals partner closely with all of our lines of business to carry out critical functions, including client/deposit servicing, contact center operations, payments processing, and trade and lending operations, while identifying and mitigating risk throughout the organization. Servicing and operations professionals seek to transform and define an integrated support model through automation and cutting-edge digital technologies, to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and businesses.
What you will do?
- Work closely with City National Bank Division representatives on enterprise strategic priorities by leading and facilitating workshops to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.
- Gather input from stakeholders ensuring the right questions are asked to assess current state, effectively challenge status quo and provide recommendations to both tactical and strategic needs
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements to meet scalability, risk management, and quality goals.
- Assess upstream/downstream impact of proposed changes and build the best solution available within constraints and capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to lead and manage projects.
- Assist with planning and leading change within and across the organization.
- Communicate project status and milestone completion to Manager and key business stakeholders.
- Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and best practices that support transformation activities.
- Support a high-performance environment by fostering an inclusive work environment, helping/elevating peers, and taking ownership of individual developmental goals.
- Act as brand ambassador of the Strategy & Transformation team by developing solid working relationships across the organization as to facilitate communication and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to ad-hoc assignments and special projects.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services with a good understanding of the fundamental principles of banking, project management, and business process reengineering work
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Enterprise-wide Initiatives, Business Transformation efforts, or Process Improvement work
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (required), including Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel; preferably also Microsoft Visio
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Ability to manage stakeholders independently and work in a self-directed manner
- Ability to interact with all levels of management
Compensation
Starting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
