Schedule

- Mon- Wed 7:30a to 5p, Thurs 6:30a to 3p, with an occasional Friday

What You'll Do:

• Warm greeting, punctual and professional
• Register new patients, verify insurance, research benefits
• Update and verify information regarding health and insurance
• Answer and manage incoming calls, handle scheduling
• Confirm upcoming appointments and manage patient flow, help fill and alter the schedule
• Maintain continuing care and treatment pending appointments
• Handle over-the-counter collection of payments
• Understand dental terminology and explain basic procedures
• Assist the Dentist at the chair while they are engaged in treatment of patients
• Maintain proper patient treatment records including consent forms for treatment
• Give pre and postoperative instructions
• Stock supplies in Operatories, lab, sterilization, etc as needed
• Cleaning of Operatories

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year dental assistant experience preferred, new grades welcome to apply
• X-Ray certification in Arizona
• Organized and Professional with an interest in customer care
• Open Dental knowledge a plus
