Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Dental Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient coding and billing processes within our dental office. Your expertise in dental coding, drnal records, and dental/medical terminology will be essential in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties:
- Review and analyze dental patient records to ensure proper documentation and coding
- Assign appropriate dental codes using CDT, and other coding systems
- Collaborate with dental providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors in coding
- Submittions of insurance claims and follow-up on claim denials or rejections
- Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

- Proficient in DentrixAscend

- Professional behavior, positive attitude, respectful demeanor, self-starter

- Proven track record of successful treatment plan presentation and closing

- Proven experience working in a dental office

- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and coding purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

- High school diploma or equivalent
