Where You’ll Work

This position is based in our Lenexa, Kansas office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

The Financial Data Analyst supports CHA’s comparative data solutions by performing analyses of financial and operational health care comparative datasets from leading pediatric hospitals that align with CHA’s strategic priorities.

• Develop proof of concept designs for new metrics or enhancements of existing metrics.
• Partner with CHA’s comparative data solutions and data operations team to remediate data quality or measure calculations concerns.
• Prepare datasets for analytic use by other departments within CHA.
• Provide advanced decision support and data analysis to other departments within CHA.
• Mine CHA financial and operational data for improvement opportunities that align with organizational strategic priorities.
• Effectively communicate results to appropriate CHA stakeholders.
• Provide analytic support for analytic briefs authored by multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Bring to CHA

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or another quantitative field required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in Business and/or Health Care analytics, health care experience highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years in SAS Programming (Base, Graph, Macros and Stat Required), base SAS Certification, preferred
• Experience with SQL programming (preferred)
• Ability to display information persuasively in support of data-driven decision-making
• Experience working with large relational databases.
• Expertise creating data visualizations.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations to stakeholders of all levels.
