Overview
The Human Resources Recruiter will develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
- Proven ability to communicate and effectively “sell” an organization’s value proposition.
- Must possess excellent oral/written communication, marketing, presentation, interviewing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the agency.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Ensures all requisitions are posted internally and externally.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Assist with the full life-cycle recruitment process as needed
- Write and update Standard Operating Procedures for all recruitment processes.
- Compile data and reports for all audit’s
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required
Qualifications and Characteristics:
- At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
