Chick-fil-A 101 & Telephone and Chick-fil-A Riverpark Oxnard is looking to hire a Business Manager (Internally called the People and Support Director) who will oversee and lead all high level business and HR management functions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a world-class training system where Team Members feel fully equipped to perform their job at the highest level
  • Ensure all Team Member onboarding, training and accountability are being executed with excellence
  • Leading a culture of care by influencing all levels of the organization
  • Ensuring full compliance with all local, state and federal laws including but not limited to employment law
  • Respond to employment related requests from EDD, Workers comp and other important stakeholders
  • Leading the Administrative Team in completing all office related tasks such as (Reviewing employee time records for accuracy, Processing bi-weekly payroll, Managing employee benefits, Ensuring team members files include necessary documentation and performance reviews)
  • Leading the Marketing Team in accomplishing marketing objectives including, (Increasing Capacity, Growing Sales, Growing profitable channels, Connecting with the community including non-profits and schools)
  • Demonstrate an outstanding ability to be a team player and work well with members of the executive team
  • Show a passion for and understanding of the Chick-fil-A brand and the desire to be an advocate for the brand
  • Read and understand financial and operational data and reports to monitor progress towards unit goals and lead others to meet those objectives
  • Be a self-leader, committed to personal growth
  • Have a deep understanding of restaurant operations and management of hourly employees
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills sufficient to speak with and write to persons of various social, cultural, economic and ethnic backgrounds to develop effective working relationships and resolve problems
  • Be a superb project and program manager, able to assess needs, set a vision, prioritize appropriately, present creative solutions, develop action plans, and execute and measure results
  • Have an ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and follow through on multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and in a timely manner
  • Work between 40 and 50 hours per week, five days a week
  • Be available to work based on the needs of the business (although it should not be a regular need, open availability includes early mornings, late evenings and weekends if/as needed).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,500.00 - $87,360.00 per year
