Job Summary
We are a modern dental practice located in the charming area of Dilworth, looking for a strong team player with a passion for dentistry and excellent customer service to join us as a Full-time Dental Assistant 1, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-6pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Dentist and/or Hygienist during the clinical procedures performed in the practice that involve patient care and treatment. This includes verifying the patient's medical history, taking digital x-rays, entering clinical information in the practice software, maintaining the dental records, providing chair-side assistance during clinical procedures, CEREC, perform operatory and tray setup and cleanup, handling lab cases, carry on sterilization procedures, quality assurance, among others. The dental assistant is expected to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations, including infection control protocols.
It's paramount for this position that at all times the care provided by the dental assistant reflects the Dentist's commitment to provide compassionate care in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the utmost respect for the patient's needs and privacy.
Requirements to apply for this position

- DA1 Certificate
- NC Radiology certification
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Within 45 minutes of driving distance to Dilworth area
