Ballantyne Family Dental is Hiring a Lead Dental Assistant/Receptionist Near Charlotte, NC

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Clinical Team Lead to join our dental practice. As the Orthodontic Clinical Team Lead, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Duties: - Assist orthodontists during procedures, including taking dental impressions, placing brackets and wires, and adjusting appliances - Manage patient flow and ensure efficient scheduling of appointments - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation - Perform medical imaging, such as X-rays and intraoral scans - Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and orthodontic treatment plans - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment - Oversee inventory management of orthodontic supplies and equipment - Collaborate with the dental receptionist to coordinate patient appointments and handle administrative tasks Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant or similar role - Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Knowledge of pediatric orthodontics is preferred - Strong understanding of dental anatomy and orthodontic treatment principles - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to mentor and train clinical team members - Knowledge of medical documentation requirements and HIPAA regulations We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
