Job DescriptionDental ReceptionistType: Contract to Hire, 100% in the office
We're on the lookout for a skilled Front Desk Receptionist to join our close-knit team at our clients office in Charlotte, NC. As the initial point of contact for patients, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring their journey begins on a positive note the moment they step through the doors.Responsibilities:
  • Warmly welcoming patients and visitors, fostering a friendly atmosphere.
  • Managing incoming phone calls and coordinating appointments using our electronic scheduling system, Dentrix.
  • Utilizing software to effectively communicate with patients, confirming appointments, and addressing inquiries.
  • Presenting financial treatment plans to patients.
  • Verifying patients' insurance coverage and promptly submitting insurance claims accurately.
  • Handling payment transactions for services provided, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring they are up-to-date.
  • Providing patients with necessary forms and assisting with completion when required.
  • Addressing patient queries or concerns regarding appointments, procedures, or insurance coverage.
  • Upholding cleanliness and organization standards at the front desk area.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks like filing, faxing, and photocopying.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless office operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental office.
  • Proficiency in dental insurance claims submission and understanding of insurance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably familiar with Dentrix software, but willingness to adapt to new systems is essential.
  • A positive demeanor and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
