A well-respected Property Management firm in business for over 37 years is looking for resourceful, community-minded team members.

The Assistant Property Manager will report directly to the Property Manager. This position’s primary function is to assist the Property Manager in the oversight of day-to-day operation of an affordable housing development including:

• Enforcing all Lease violations by generating the appropriate Termination or Cure notices
• Issuing Non-payment of rent notices
• Meeting with residents to discuss lease violations
• Attending court appearances
• Scheduling hearings/mediation with residents
• Working with our Social Service department on resident issues
• Supervision of staff
• Payroll
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Reports

Knowledge of Fair Housing, property management industry standards, Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate would possess 3 years of housing management experience, and have excellent organizational and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and proficiency in computer software such as Word and Excel. Previous supervisory experience is required.
