Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. This position requires excellent time management skills, a strong knowledge of beverages, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and food handling guidelines
