Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing a designated portfolio of properties, ensuring seamless monthly AP processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly AP duties for assigned property portfolio.
- Oversee payment of utility bills
- Calculate and pay monthly sales tax, and handling TPT license setup.
- Process tenant security deposit refunds.
- Conduct monthly budget meeting reviews.
- Assist with utility account requests and pulling utility bills for various purposes.
- Manage property takeovers and disposition tasks related to AP, such as setting up, transferring, and closing utility accounts, managing utility deposits and bonds.
- Maintain company vendors through the NetVendor program, including 1099 maintenance and yearly filing.
- Assist with various requests from accountants, owners, and utility account manager as needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in property management.
- Experience with vendor management systems, preferably NetVendor.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
