Centro, Inc. is Hiring a Director of Human Resources Near North Liberty, IA

We are looking for an HR Director to oversee all aspects of our human resources function across multiple locations. The HR Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can also handle day-to-day HR operations and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations
  • Lead and manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify training and development needs for employees
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
Experience:
  • Proven experience as an HR leader or Director of Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment labor laws, and regulations
  • Experience in performance management, employee evaluation, and strategic planning
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., UltiPro) and other HR software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict management and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data to drive HR strategies
